My 5 Favorite Smoothie Recipes

Originally I was going to share these simply because I know as the weather starts to get nice, people once again want to lose weight, look good and eat healthy. But in light of the corona virus outbreak - I think these simple meals are even MORE important to share now! Why? Because they’re GOOD FOR YOU. They’ll help boost your natural immunity, yes, they will help you lose some weight, and they will reduce inflammation! How? Because they’re loaded with healthy, whole foods, sweetened only with fruit (no added sugars!), and contain good-for-you fats and proteins to keep you full!

These are my favorites that I rotate through depending on what’s in the house, and how I’m feeling. But feel free (as always!) to make swaps and substitutions to fit your own life and palate! For example, I use almond milk to make my smoothies. By all means - use whatever milk you typically drink at home! Can’t find chia seeds? Flaxseed works well too! Allergic to peanut butter? Sub in almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter! The options are literally endless! Since it’s still, technically, just BEFORE Spring as this post goes live, I suggest frozen berries for now. BUT - as the weather warms and those fresh, local beauties make it to markets - DEFINITELY use those instead and just add some ice!
